Our Latest Activities

We've had a busy couple of days! On Thursday, Lucas and I went to Mission Hills Park, which has a lot of fun spraying water features. We got to see Emma (a girl that I babysat), Mia, and Ella. Lucas usually doesn't like the water spraying in his face, but he was braver this time. By the end, he would run through some of the sprinklers by himself.

It's starting to get a little scarier at busy places because he just runs off without me! He took off, so I watched to see what he would do, and he never turned around! Eventually, he started crying because he was "lost." Crazy kid!

On Friday we went to the Lied's Children's Museum with Mia and Ella. Luke's favorite attraction this time was the bed. He just kept rearranging the pillow and blanket, and then he would lay down, and then he would start over again!

They had the CUTEST costume in the stage/dress-up area. It was Pooh dressed up like a bumblebee with a huge belly. Lucas really liked the costume, but he was mad because the other kids kept opening the curtains on the stage, and he wanted them closed.
When we were leaving, Mia kept trying to hold Luke's hand. He kept galloping away, so eventually she gave up, and they galloped off together.

One great thing about doing these busy activities?! Lucas has been napping for 3+ hours in the afternoon!

Oh my goodness, Lucas is so adorable. He is so great! I am afraid of all those girls around Lucas that Brooke might have some competition.

I love children's museums, I always find the costumes a little suspect, but can never help dressing Wyatt up in them. Lucas makes a really cute pooh bear!
