Today we went out to Boulder Beach. The water was very murky and my feet kept sinking in the sand (gross!!!!), but Lucas had a GREAT time! Well, he had a great time after he stopped screaming about how scary the lake was.... Once he finished his fit, he jumped in the water and didn't get out! The kids all had a lot of fun playing in the mud.
When we were finished swimming, we went and had a picnic at a park in Boulder where there are all kinds of Big-Horned Sheep! It was so cool! I guess they come down to eat the grass, since everything else has been scorched by the heat.
The kids really liked the sheep...but guess what else they liked? The poop, of course! Jared had them all convinced that the poop was really a bunch of bugs. So, Lucas stepped on it as hard as he could and shouted, "Got it!" It was hilarious! Lucas is in the white shirt.

Hey guys. So that park with the big horned sheep is right next to Jamie's parents house. And close to where Jamie and I met for the first time. Cool eh?
I am so jealous. I did not show brooke the pictures since she might get hurt feelings. I love the picture of all the kids in the water. I love it! I am so boring. I am going out!
