Pumpkin Time!
Yesterday Lucas and I went to the pumpkin patch with Mia and Ella. It was an enjoyable, dirty experience. I think Lucas' favorite part was his stick!!! He had a great time "writing" letters in the dirt. The pumpkin patch also had corn, tomatoes, eggplant, apples, and squash, to name a few! I had never seen an eggplant before, so that was exciting! The kids had a good time exploring, running along the trails, and playing in the dirt.

In the evening, we painted Lucas' pumpkin. I decided that carving it would be too much work! Not that painting was much better.... :) But it was a lot less slimy.
Didn't Lucas do an excellent job on the hair? He really just wanted to paint the stem over and over, but I managed to convince him to branch out a bit.
Our pumpkin ended up being a "Kids' Club" pumpkin. Colorful hair, red nose, goofy smile.

Painting was a lot of fun! Lucas keeps asking to paint the other one. I think that will be an endeavor for another day!
