It's December!

We had our ward Christmas breakfast on December 1st. It was a great way to dive into the holiday season! Now all I want to do is look at Christmas lights, sing Christmas songs, make and eat Christmas treats, smell Christmas smells, watch Christmas shows and movies...you get the picture! Here are some of our Christmas activities so far.

Sitting with Santa at the ward breakfast. Lucas freaked out when Santa came in. This was as close as he would get, and he would only get this close because he was with Breeona and being bribed with a candy cane. :) His smile is quite strained!

Enjoying the Christmas lights at Sunset Park and the Cactus Gardens at Ethel M's.
Eating a Jell-O Christmas tree.

We've also really enjoyed getting back into our normal routine:

Dressing like a pretty princess...
Attending Sports Day...
and hanging out with Boo the Clown.

*I've posted recently that Lucas is terrified of cats. Yesterday we went to PetSmart and he really wanted to see the cats. So we went to see them, and Lucas started putting his finger in the cage! I couldn't believe it. The cat stretched out to let him touch his nose, so Lucas kept putting his finger in to pet the cat. I thought, "It's a breakthrough!" Then guess what happened??? The cat bit him. Figures. :) He is fine physically, but I think his feelings about cats may have worsened. :)

Oh no. Does this mean that you won't be staying at our house ever again because we have a cat. Please tell me that won't ever happen!

I love it! You do so great at taking that camera everywhere and getting all the pictures.
My feelings about cats keep changing, I think it depends on the cat. But.. I feel the same about dogs, and all animals in general.

It looks like sports day was another success! My kids were so sad that they missed it. It looks like you have been busy and had lots of fun!
