Big Boy Bed

When we got back from our Christmas travels, Lucas began climbing out of his crib! So, we are currently making the transition into a big boy bed. The first night was kind of rough, but now he's doing pretty well! The first time he took a nap, he kept getting out of bed and I could hear little feet running around. He kept running to the door, opening it, slamming it, and then he would rush back to bed before I would come in. When I would pop my head in to tell him to get in bed, he would say, "Stop it! Close the door!" Then he would close his eyes tight until I left the room. Goofball.

He still gets up a couple times when we put him in bed, but at least he's not screaming for our bed!!! He's a wild sleeper, so we bought guardrails to keep him from falling out. He's always so proud of himself when he wakes up now and is able to get out of bed. He says, "Mommy, I waked up! I good sleeper!" What a big boy!
