The Usual Stuff

Well, our life hasn't been too exciting since returning home. Lucas is just getting over being sick. Yesterday was his first day acting like a normal kid again! He sat on my lap for almost 3 days! He usually won't even let me hold him for 5 minutes!! Anyway, now that he's better, here's what he's been up to!
Working on perfecting his Boo the Clown routine. I think we're going to send him to clown school. This is what he does everyday, ALL DAY LONG. Boo the Clown had a tv show for the month of December, and Lucas could literally watch it the whole day. Playing at the park with friends. Lucas is sitting by Mia on the steps.
Nothing makes a better toy than a box! We got Lucas a new carseat (which he didn't want to have anything to do with), and he's been having a great time climbing around in the carseat box.
Master of the house. Clint usually sits in this chair when he's home, so when he's not around I sit in it. Today Lucas kicked me out because he said it was his turn. He wouldn't even let me sit with him. Stinker! :)

Lucas sleeping in a big boy bed is just going okay. In just a matter of a few days, he has perfected the I-need-a-drink-I-have-boogies-I'm-going-to-throw-up routine. Last night, he got up 4-5 times before finally going to sleep. He did sleep all night though!

Clint is doing a family practice rotation this month at a clinic for the homeless. He saw 15 patients by himself yesterday! He's like a real doctor! :) This month, he has his final three interviews: Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, and Portland. We're going to have a tough time ranking our options!

Since I'm a Family History Consultant for our ward, I've been trying to update myself on the New Family Search which is coming to our temple district next month. There are LOTS of tutorials to go through, but I'm enjoying learning about the new system. I think it will be much more effective. Everything I just said will probably be gibberish to you unless you're into family history. :)

Anyway, that's what we've been doing! We're happy to be back in warmer weather! I went to the store today for some gloves for Luke, and ALL of the SUMMER STUFF is out! No gloves, but lots of swimming suits! This is a strange place.... Isn't it the beginning of January???

I have an extra pair of snow gloves and and maybe play gloves also, I need to check the size.

I was really impressed when Clint examined Grandma's hand when we were in Arizona. He acted professional, tender and seemed to know how to examine and diagnose her condition. Which it turned out, he was right on the money. She did need antibiotics.

So, can we go to the clinic for a free exam of our bronchitis? :)

I love the picture of Lucas sitting in the "Big Chair" It is so much fun to see how they mimmick adults. (Well it is at least fun for me when it isn't my kids)-- Good luck in getting the chair back!

Ranking is the worst. I feel really out of control right now since our list is in. I think I may just keep Wyatt in a crib until he is five, I love the containment factor.
