March 1st-Planting Season!

Lucas and I planted a garden together on Saturday. He was REALLY excited and very eager to help! We went to Lowe's so he could pick out some different types of flower seeds. We also got seeds for carrots and radishes! Lucas says he's going to eat the dirt, flowers, AND the carrots. We'll see.
Here is Lucas watering the newly planted seeds:
Why am I posting pictures of dirt??? Hopefully we'll have great success with our seeds so you can compare our garden NOW and THEN! The carrots and radishes are in the little planters.
This is the tree in our front yard. It's so pretty. I think it's really funny though that it is totally in bloom, but it hasn't grown its leaves back yet! My mom said that's just what those kinds of trees
(Thundercloud Plum?) do!

These are some of the types of flowers that we planted:

We'll keep you posted on how our garden grows!!

I LOVED having a garden I really would like to do it again but our back yard is pretty much owned by the dogs.

I can't wait until we can plant! I love gardening and I am so jealous of you!!

That tree is so pretty! We have those all over here, too. Isn't it funny how they bloom, then those blooms become leaves? It just seems backwards, doesn't it?

I love those trees. We have some around our neighborhood and as I was driving today I noticed them again and thought how pretty they are at this time of year. I can't believe you're attemping a garden. I didn't think it was possible here. Good luck! You must have a wonderful green thumb.

Hey, I'm glad I found you guys! I can't believe how fast everyone's kids are growing since we left! We just planted some seeds this afternoon and they are in three of our windowsills. Hopefully, we'll all have flowers soon. :)
