We had a great 4th of July! Clint got the day off (which was a surprise!), and we went to the Boulder City parade with the Wynns. It was a nice :P 95 degrees! The parade was just a bunch of politicians and other business advertisements. NO floats!!! But the end of the parade was fun because it was like a city water fight. Next time we'll have to go with ammunition!
We ran into Clint's college roommate, Matt, and his wife and son, Jamie and Jaxon. It was fun to see them. Jaxon is so cute! 
Lucas and Treyson enjoyed squirting each other with squirt guns (most of the time, anyway. They are 2. :) ). Check out these surly faces.
The ice cream truck handed out free popsicles at the end of the parade.
After the parade, we went home and NAPPED!!! Lucas hasn't been napping lately, but we made him take one since we were going to stay up late watching fireworks.
At night, we met up with this great group to head up the mountain and watch the fireworks. The Wynns and the Johnsons ferried us all up there since it involved some off-roading.
The view was great!! We were able to see the Station Casino fireworks, and then we set off our own.

They also loved being pirates with glow sticks.
It was such a fun night! Thank you to everyone! We're having a great time meeting all of the new people moving into our ward.We're very grateful to live in this country. We are so blessed. We hope you all had a wonderful celebration!

You must of seen some Shamos at the parade, I am pretty sure Rick's dad is in a float. Did they have the fire hose going? Don't tell anyone I said this, but I kind of miss the 4th in Boulder.

We went to Parowan for the 4th and our brake light came on, so we took it to Biasis to get fixed. They were really nice. Glad to see you are having so much fun even in the extreme heat.
