First Karate Class

Luke had his first karate class today. Parents are only allowed in for the last 5 minutes, but he seemed to be doing okay. He looked like he was being kind of shy instead of totally crazy! I'm sure he'll get over it.

Lucas was excited to show me what he learned, but then he told his teacher, "I need to go tell my mommy I need a snack." She wouldn't let him...so things went downhill from there!!! He quit being cooperative and was very sad for the end of class. Hopefully next week will be a little better!
We told him that he would learn kicks and Jedi moves in his karate class. After class, he told me, "I didn't do any kicks or Jedi moves. Why not?"

Natalie O how I am missing Las Vegas so much lately! I am struggling! Hearing about going to the library and seeing how a lot you guys are all in the same preschool and the parks and the play dates... what a good life! Studen life is the best. THis grown up business is no fun! haha :) It is alot different out here!

I have to tell you I have been working with Ashden faithfully to learn his letter sounds and he has just been struggling. SO I LOVED your post about LUCAS and learning his letters. I bought the leap frog movie and Ashden had them learned in two days... SO THANK YOU. Leap frog is my hero!

ANyways that is fun you put Lucas in Karate, hopefully he will warm up to it and like it.

I love the "snack" comment on his part...bless his heart, he got hungry from doing his class! Did he sleep like a trooper on the car ride home?
