There was a very small man at the library today. I tried to grab Lucas and rush past, but I wasn't quick enough! So the whole way down the hall, Lucas kept saying, "Mommy! Look at that little man!" Over and over again! Using a voice like you might use if you were to say, "Awwww, look at the cute little puppy!!!"
I'm sure he heard us. Poor guy. Lucas sure enjoyed seeing him though!

Yep, gotta love kids. I lost track of how many times Madisyn has done this to me. "Mom look at that big lady." "Mom he doesn't have an arm." "Mom what happened to his face?" And of course it is never in a low voice or any sort of distance from the "victim". Happy parenting! :)
The other day Acadia, as we were going to the library, saw a over weight guy riding a bike. She just started laughing hysterically and then says in a very loud voice: "Mom, that guy has a big bum!" Hee hee hee. I was thanking my lucky stars that we were in the van.
That is really sad but hilarious! I'm sure a lot more funny when you hear other kids than your own saying stuff like!
As bad as it sounds I am sure that he was used to comments and he must know that a child doesn't know any different.
