The fountain is probably my favorite thing on the strip, but I haven't been since college! Lucas was totally amazed.
Kaitlin was perfect throughout the whole adventure. She is such a sweetie pie! She still has thrush, so we're trying gentian violet, which turns her mouth purple. Lots of people have said to me, "Oh, how cute! She has her lip stuff on!" Lip stuff? On a little baby? Purple??? Okaaaaaay.
The trip to the Bellagio was definitely worth it! I'm glad we have so many friends (grown-ups and kids!) to do exciting things with!

That gentian violet was crazy stuff! You know how wiggly Carson is, so we stained a lot of clothes and bibs when we had to use that. And who puts purple lipstick on their kids???????
You're right...the purple is a bit bold for a baby! Silly people! Looks like your trip to the strip was mucho fun!

Acadia came home and asked why baby Kaitlyn Sally got to wear lipstick and not her. We had a great time!
Is it bad if I don't know what thrush or gelatin violet is?
I love the Bellagio. All of my kids have had thrush...I've started thinking that maybe it is something wrong with me. The gentain violet was the only thing that worked. the best luck I had was when i used it a week straight, every night when they went to bed. Otherwise it would always come back. I totally feel for ya!
Oh thank you so much for putting up the pictures of the Bellagio! It was my absolute favorite place to go in Vegas when I lived there! Everytime I see pictures I miss living there all over again! Those gardens are just beautiful there and the kids...too cute! The doctors in Florida do not prescribe that purple medicine (knock on wood we never had to deal with thrush, but our friends did)....but Kaitlin rocks the purple so well!
