Clark County Fair

On Friday, Kim, Leah, Danielle, and I packed up the kids and headed to the fair! Here are the highlights of the day!

We watched the Animal Adventure show. It was pretty cool! They had a large variety of cats come out and do tricks, along with a monkey, horse, and parrot.
4-H had a booth where the kids could make their own horses and then ride them around the barrels. Very cool craft! Not a very fun craft to cart around the fair for the rest of the day. :) Many innocent bystanders were poked. Lucas is generally terrified of all animals, but he was so brave at the fair! He didn't even need any coaxing. He touched everything except for the grown-up pigs.
Petting the Animal Adventure Horse

He and Ally spent a lot of time petting the goats. I couldn't get a good pic of them actually petting them, but this is a nice one of them laughing at the poop coming out of the goat's rear end. :)

I think Lucas' favorite part of the day was being with the little piggies! He could have stayed with them all day long. I guess our first pet will have to be a pig.

He even allowed me to take his picture with Mojave Max. Max is the face of the Desert Conservation Association.

Everyone got piggie noses when we watched the pig races.

You'd think from this picture that I was the only one who was having a good time!
Hugs from Chloe. These two love each other.
Corn dogs for dinner, a couple of rides, a bag of kettle corn, and we were ready to pass out from exhaustion! I can't wait for next year. It was such a fun day!

It was in Logandale. It took about 1 hour and 15 min to get there. How did we miss that the last 4 years???

Auna, it's hard for me to imagine that it's frigid and snowy in other places!!! We've been having springtime for months! :D

That was way fun! We definitely need to do that next year...and of coarse bring our husbands and eat the yummy food we smelled the whole time! The post above of Kaitlin laughing is the cutest thing. I don't know if I've ever heard her laugh that hard, she's so dang cute!
