Lucas and Jared loved playing on the elephant and turtle statues. My favorite part of the zoo were the baby chicks everywhere!!! I don't have any pics, but they were adorable.
Definitely not the best zoo in the world, but we had a great time!We also visited the wetlands/bird preserve with some friends this week. (I bet you didn't know Vegas had a zoo and wetlands)! We saw bunnies, ground squirrels, dragonflies, and a few different birds. When Lucas told Clint about our day, he said, "We saw ants!"

I never updated you on our garden. We were able to grow carrots about the size of my thumb and our broccoli heads got about 2'' across. Then it got too hot! But our sunflowers are beautiful!

Great job on your garden. Our strawberry plant got one strawberry and then the plant fried before it could turn red. Our tomatoe plant has about 8 tomatoes that are being eatten by something... all the tomatoes are green and won't turn red, plus they have sting marks all over them. Yuck! I guess I don't have a green thumb.
I've never been to our zoo here, I guess we should go. It sounds like they had a lot of fun :)
I wish I would have at least tried to do a garden this year! Your sunflowers are so pretty!!
I wonder if Carson would like the zoo. Maybe we'll copy you and see what Hogle Zoo has to offer.
So the Zoo wasn't too bad huh. I love the shark boys. Trey misses them so much. He has been asking every day when Lucas is comming. And when I tell him a month he says "But mom he is taking such a long time." I can believe how much Kaitlyn has grown up and it has only been a month.
Congrats on closing on your house I am so excited for you. Brad informed me that you can get the first time home buyers credit this year if you close before July 1st. I just need to figure out how to ammend my taxes now.
So I'm the one who needs to write the email, or maybe I,ll just give you a call since Brad is on Call Wed. Miss you!
