Bass Pro Shop

Last week we went to the Bass Pro Shop with our new ward's playgroup. Our friend Tisha (from our old ward!) set up a tour. They showed us different lures and "caught" a few fish. The kids also got to stand in a boat and practice casting with a fishing pole. Here are Lucas and Max (Tisha's son). Max is in Lucas' new Sunbeam class.I've never been to the Bass Pro Shop before. It was really cool and the perfect boy store! Boats, ATVs, shooting games, tons of "taxidermied" animals, and more!! I wanted to buy lots of things that I have no need for, i.e. camping and hiking gear, kids' fishing kits, camo clothing in all shapes, sizes, and colors. We also walked over to the Silverton Casino to see their fish tank. I LOVE this picture of Lucas and Max.We had a good time with our new playgroup. We met a lot of new moms and kids. Great activity, Tisha!

Is that Tisha from our old BYU ward? Are they in your new ward? That's so fun!

I didn't know the Bass Pro Shop did tours like that, how fun! We loved going there just to look at the animals. We actually have one about 2 hours from us here, maybe we will have to hit it next time we pass it.

Great idea. I am afraid my playgroup would be too rowdy for such a great activity.

Jen...nope, different Tisha! She was in my Vegas ward. They moved first, and then we followed!

Diane, we were plenty rowdy! :) At one point, about 10 kids were climbing all over a really nice speed boat. A manager quickly called over one of the girls that was helping us and told her to moniter us better!!!
