Campout!

We went camping with the Garmire's at Mt. Charleston. We stayed McWilliams Campground. It was very pretty and so much cooler!!
Kaitlin had fun putting rocks in her cup, eating rocks and other yucky things, playing with Chloe, hanging upside down, and drinking her first juice box. (Actually it was Lucas' juice box. If I got her her own, she probably wouldn't drink it. She only wants other people's food and drinks. She's our little beggar)!
The Girls!
The Boys!
Lucas loves campfires and roasting marshmallows. He does not like to eat the marshmallows. But he was feeling brave, so he decided to try a S'More. This is how it went:
Who doesn't like S'Mores??? :)

The kids had fun playing together. When it got dark, we played with glowsticks. Here they are as Jedis. I was impressed with Ally and Chloe's Jedi poses because I don't think they know what Jedis are!!!
It ended up being much colder at night than I had anticipated. Luckily, Leah had an extra pair of sweats that she let me borrow. (Thanks, Leah)! And the 4 of us ended up sleeping altogether on 1 air mattress. We all woke up a lot! The funniest part was the first time Lucas woke up, he kept whispering to Clint, "We don't want to wake up the Jawas! Who-tee-tee! We don't want to wake up the Jawas! Who-tee-tee!" That kid! He even dreams about Star Wars!

Mt. Charleston is a great get-away from the Las Vegas heat! Hopefully we'll go there more next summer. Thanks, Garmires! We had a fun time!

Exactly what I was thinking. Who doesn't like s'mores? That is how I broke my diet last summer.

Such a popsicle kid!

You're so brave! We're still to wimpy to go camping with Carson. Lucas is so funny, I laughed so hard when I read what he said about waking up the Jawas!

We had so so much fun with you guys! I think we should make it an annual thing! Lucas cracks me up and I'm so glad that they play so well with each other. The second day was so much more enjoyable! I'm glad (and Dave) that he's teaching the girls about Star Wars!
