Water Fun

It has been in the 80s here! That means it's the time of year to do fun water activities before it gets so hot that we have to be totally submerged in water or in our houses! This week we went to Lake Mead. Lucas really wanted to bring his goggles, but I said we didn't need them, it wasn't hot enough, maybe next time. I was wrong! He and Ally got all the way into the water! The water was actually pretty warm.Kate loved the water too! She had fun splashing with Chloe.
Today we went to Max's house to play with water balloons. The boys had a really fun time letting the balloons roll down the driveway, running after them, and stomping on them. We poked tiny holes in some of the balloons, and then they would shout, "Coconut bomb!!!" (From Swiss Family Robinson). Tisha also sprayed them down with the hose!Kate was thinking, "You guys are crazy. What the heck are you doing? Get those things away from me." She would not touch the balloons and did not even want them anywhere near her.
