Leo!

Leo came to stay and play for a few days. We went and saw Toy Story 3 (which we loved), and we also went to the Natural History Museum.Checking out a bearded dragon...Lucas got an awesome early birthday present from Hannah-Star Wars cookie cutters! So we had to try them out! The boys had fun cutting them out and decorating!Kaitlin found an unattended cookie and ate her heart out!
We also went swimming at our pool a couple times and at the rec center, and we played a lot of Legos! Leo was so good with Kaitlin. She loved shouting for him whenever she couldn't see him. We stayed busy and had fun!! Thanks for coming to play, Leo!

*While Leo was here, we packed up to go to the pool. Kate was mad about something, so I left her in the house while I loaded the stuff and the boys in the car. When I came back for Kate, she had locked the door!!! I didn't have a house key, so we had to wait for 30 minutes for Clint to come home and rescue Kate! I climbed the back gate and we sang to Kate through the patio door. We were able to convince her to pull a chair over to the door, but she wasn't strong enough to undo the deadbolt. She cried a little, but we did a pretty good job of entertaining her, and we all survived!

*Kate learned how to plug her ears, and she has been doing it during singing time in nursery!

*Lucas: Mom, I know the perfect scary song to sing to a stranger! I'll just stand there and look at them and sing Beat It!
