Our little Katie Pie is TWO!!! 
(Kate loved taking her birthday phone calls)!
In the morning, we went and took her birthday pictures and had lunch at McDonald's with Lucas and Chloe. We had her birthday cupcakes that evening with Wyatt, Megan, and Devin. I couldn't believe she actually agreed to wear her hat for a bit!
She only almost touched the fire once! :) She loved having us sing to her.
When we gave her the first present, she didn't try to open it. We kept having to coax her, and then she finally opened it frantically, like she thought we might take it away! She was so happy to play with each toy, but Lucas could hardly take the suspense. He kept saying, "Kaitlin, open this one! Here!" We gave her a little purse with pretend make-up, a new stroller, and a tea set. We also gave her a magic wand, which she did not understand at all. She kept trying to rip off the ribbons and has been using it as a light saber.
Tisha told me how to make pretend make-up! It was so easy. Just buy make-up from the dollar store, dig out the make-up, and fill each space with a different color of fingernail polish. Then just let it dry!
She got a new baby from Nana and Nate and bubbles and a new phone from Wyatt and Megan.
Kate sharing her phone with her baby. She's a real girl! She has spent the last few days pushing a few babies around in her stroller while holding her purse and talking on the phone. She's so cute!
My dad and Diane stopped by to tell her Happy Birthday and see her open her presents. She loved her new baby Elmo and her airplane book!
I wanted a picture of her in one of her new outfits from Grandma Claire, and she insisted that her baby be in the picture!
We also took her to Kids' Club to celebrate her birthday. She loves Boo and talks about him all the time. She, however, does not love him in person!
