Kaitlin and Lucas knew we were going to have guests, so they spent hours making "Chocolate M&M Soup." The ingredients were M&M's, water, mini chocolate bars, and LOTS of sprinkles. Thomas agreed to try a bite...but once he saw the soup up close, he changed his mind. Lucas was brave and tasted his invention, and he said it was gross.
We went to the Bellagio to see the gardens and fountains.Too bright, but so cute.
On New Year's Eve, we decorated gingerbread boys and girls, drank cream soda, and rang in the New Year at 8 p.m.Kaitlin learned how to hold up 2 fingers on her own!
Gingerbread couple: Gianna's girl and my boyThe kids loved doing "Cheers" and drinking out of special cups.
Party blowers and poppers!Confetti ice cream
My favorite part of the video--turning to see Gianna with a mouth full of confetti. Thomas shot it into her mouth! Sorry, Gianna--but it was pretty funny! :)
My mom bought clay for the kids to make nativities.
Gianna amazed us all with her knitting skills!! She made an awesome dragon scarf for Lucas...
...and finger puppets for Kate!
Kate in her Christmas outfit from my mom. She loves this skirt and wears it a lot!
One of the last days my mom was here, it snowed!! It wasn't snowing at our house, so we tried to chase it down. We ended up at the park, where we were able to catch a few flurries before they disappeared! Thanks for coming to visit us! We miss you guys!
