Our Baseball Star

Lucas is playing tee ball this season!  He has loved practicing with his team, the Mudcats and Coach Taylor.  The first few practices have been pretty funny because the kids hardly know anything about baseball.  But they've made a lot of improvement in just a couple of weeks!

Getting his uniform and playing his first game have been such exciting events.

His first game was against Aden's team, the Bulls.  There are no outs and nobody keeps score, so I'm pretty sure the Mudcats won.  :)

Lucas is the second baseman.  It's so funny to watch the kids in the outfield.  They do not pay attention at all.  Instead they kick up and throw as much red dirt as they can!  Lucas also made lots of new friends as the kids stopped at his base.

We have loved watching him play and practicing with him at home.  He keeps getting better and better!
