Fourth of July - Part 2

On July 4th, we swam at Tyler and Kameron's hotel pool, and then went to the movies!  Some of us saw Cars 2 and some saw Transformers.
That evening, we ate pizza at our house and then went up to sit on the hill behind our house to watch fireworks.
We were happy to be with so many famiy members and friends:  Jim and Claire, Tyler and Kam and kids, Wyatt and Megan, Devin and Erin, Logan and Laura, Neil and his sister Angie and her fam.
Lucas only tried one sparkler and then decided he was too scared.
Wyatt and Megan kept Kaitlin supplied with Pop-Its and sparklers.  We're lucky she didn't catch anyone on fire!  She loved her sparklers until she got a little burn.
Kaitlin was a little wary of the loud noises at first, so Lucas kept her safe.  We were able to see fireworks across the whole valley, but it was a bummer because the casinos right by us didn't set them off.  City of Henderson put on a pretty good show.
We had a wonderful celebration!!!  We are so grateful for our family, friends, and this country!
