The First Week

Our first week home was wonderful!  Clint took Lucas and Kaitlin to CA for the week, so I was able to rest and recover in peace.  Diane and Leo came to stay with me, and then Gianna came!  I loved visiting with them.  I asked Leo what he wants for his birthday, and he said, "Lincoln."
I had to get Lincoln in his little BYU onesie right away since he is such a giant.  I almost had to cut it off of him!

Grandma Diane helped me give Lincoln his first sponge bath.  He really enjoyed the warm water.  (His cord is still on!  That thing is never coming off).

Aunt Gianna.  She made me many gourmet meals, and we watched a lot of Toddlers and Tiaras!  That show is a little bit horrifying!  It is hard to stop watching.  We also had lots of visitors and meals made for us!

Lincoln started stretching out!  He's so big!  I never had a "newborn."  More like a 3 month old!

Even though he's the size of a 3 month old, he sleeps like a newborn!  I forgot how sleepy they are!  Midway through the first week, he started staying up for about 2 hours in the morning, and an hour or so in the evening.  He usually sleeps for about 4 hours for his first nighttime stretch, and then in 2-3 hour blocks.

Thank you to Diane, Leo, and Gianna, and all of our friends who brought us meals and stopped by to say hi!!  We feel so loved.
