Christmas 2011

We enjoyed a wonderful Christmas at home.  Lucas, for about the 5th year in a row, spent the night throwing up.  We think it's because he's anxious about Santa coming. The kids both got new bikes.  Kaitlin was especially excited!
We opened our presents first thing in the morning, and then Kaitlin and I attended church, while the boys stayed home.  Sacrament was nice because we sang the whole time!  And when Kaitlin and I came back, Clint had bacon, eggs, and cinnamon rolls ready for us!  Lucas spent a good portion of the morning on the couch.
Kaitlin thought the apple in her stocking was super exciting!
Lincoln got a jumper for Christmas!  I bought it for half off on Black Friday.  He loves it!  At first, he wasn't quite long enough, so he had to lean to a side to make one leg longer, and then he would bounce on his tippy toe!
Lucas got just what he wanted from Santa--the entire set of Junie B. Jones and Wolf Mountain (Hot Wheels).  Kaitlin wanted a pony from Santa (which he brought in Spokane).  On Christmas Day, she got Strawberry Shortcake dolls.
Uncle Devin joined us for Christmas dinner.  Mmmmmm.
And so did Lincoln!  He sat in his high chair for the first time and ate a biter biscuit.  When Lucas was a baby, the biter biscuits were much thicker and would kind of mush off a layer at a time.  Now they're more like a cracker, so Lincoln ended up biting off a whole chunk!  Luckily I was paying attention.
Bike riding!  Kaitlin ferried around a baby and her apple from her stocking.  With the bumps in the road, she still managed to tip over even with the training wheels.  Now she is quite wary of getting on her bike!
Lucas is one cool dude.  He is still wishing for a kickstand!
In the evening, Wyatt and Megan came over for pie and to see all of the new toys.  It was a delightful, magical day.  We loved watching our children!
Here are lots of videos!

What an awful way to spend Christmas night! Poor Lucas and poor you guys! Looks like it was a great Christmas otherwise!
