A couple of weekends ago we went to the Newton Fun Run! Lucas did a great job. He ran and walked for his whole designated 30 minutes. He was pretty funny because when he ran, he RAN as fast as he could. No pacing himself for that boy! There were also fun activities set up-pogo balls and sack races.
Goooooooo, Lucas!!
The DJ kept telling the kids to get their parents running too, so Lucas would say, "C'mon, Mom!" and then he would take off running without me. Clint kept tabs on the little kids.

Kaitlin started out strong with Leng and Ryu, but she had a bad fall at the end of her first lap (she's on the ground behind Ryu), so she decided that was quite enough running. Maybe we could have chosen better shoes than flip-flops!
Refueling on some Subway and snacks.
Our baby has graduated from his baby carseat to a big boy carseat! He was starting to hang out of both ends and sooooooooo heavy to carry around! He weighs about 21 pounds!
BIG NEWS! At almost 3 1/2, Kaitlin has given up her binkies! We were at Target and she was admiring the babies, so I told her if she threw her binkies away, we could come back to the store and she could buy a baby. She jumped on board! We went around the house on a binky search, and she kissed them and threw them away. We had 3 hard nights at bedtime. (Clint was at work, of course)! She wasn't crying for her binkies; she was just so wild and would not settle down. A couple of days in, she said, "I HATE that big truck! That big garbage truck! It took my binkies!" 2 weeks in, she still tells us that she actually is NOT a big girl and she needs her binkies back. Tonight she begged to use one of Link's binks! But we've held fast, and it has gone much better than I hoped! She picked out a Princess Belle baby, and she loves it. I keep waiting for her to start disliking her baby, since it is tied to her not having any binkies! She still has her blankie, but it doesn't comfort her like I thought it might. Some nights she doesn't even notice if it's not in her bed.
Rub-a-dub-dub, 3 kids in a tub!
