In March, we went to Brianhead with the Woolfs. Clint and Neil took the boys really early to get up there and hit the slopes! It was the first time that Lucas and Max had been skiing. I think it didn't end up being the worst experience ever, but neither of them are itching to go skiing again! Lucas said he'll try snowboarding next time. In the afternoon, Neil and Tisha watched all of the kids while Clint and I went skiing. It was so much fun! We've still got skills! The view from the top of the mountain gorgeous. There was snow all around us, but in the distance we could see the red hills without snow. The wind was sooooo strong and cold that I could hardly breathe at the top! We didn't wear sunscreen, and Clint got the WORST burn ever on his face!!!
I didn't have my good camera with me.
The kids had such a fun time running, jumping, playing, eating and sledding in the snow.
We ate good food (lots of nacho cheese!), played games, and went hot tubbing. Our friends, the Proctors, let us stay at their cabin. It was so nice. We had tons of space and there were lots of toys for the kids!
Lincoln's favorite part was hot tubbing! As soon as he saw all of that water, he started waving his arms as fast as he could!
Lucas and Max were in one set of bunk beds, and the girls shared a bed! Guess who threw up that night?? Yep, Lucas! And Ellie! No one slept very well.
Sledding the 2nd day. Kate looked adorable in Devin's old snowsuit.
This picture cracks me up!
Lucas and Max started digging a hole, and they could have spent all day there! While sitting with the boys, I saw a white, slender squirrel!
On our drive home, Neil took us on a scenic drive through Kolob Canyon. It was so beautiful! It's right off the I-15. I had no idea it was hiding back there.
Lucas and Kaitlin took these nice pictures of each other. Weird though, because I remember a lot of whining and crying on the drive!!
It was such a fun trip. We were only there for a little over 24-hours though. Next time we'll have to go longer!

I love the pics of Lucas and Kaitlin all smiley and you remembering the whining. That is too funny! I guess the whines resonate louder than the smiles! Looks like fun! We will have to meet up somewhere in Cali next winter and do this with you guys!
I'm glad someone out there enjoys snow! It's definitely not me!
My mom lives across the freeway from Kolob. The fingers are the view out of her front door. Pretty cool huh! My worst date ever took place in those fingers... ahh the memories!
Such great pictures...but I really don't think I even saw the "No Sledding" sign, that is so funny!
Oh poor Lucas, he always gets sick in Utah! I love all the pictures, it looks so fun! Next winter you should come up here and go skiing with us at Sundance :0) That would be SO fun!!
