Easter Weekend With Grandma Teri

Grandma Teri came to visit us over Easter weekend.  We packed in A LOT of fun things while she was here.

A Chuck E. Cheese trip.  Kaitlin always says, "Pizza and pop!  Pizza and pop!  Can we have pizza and pop?"  Lincoln liked the rides!  He's still not quite big enough though.
On Saturday afternoon, we got adventurous and bought half-price tickets to see comedian Mac King.  Lucas thought it was sooooo awesome.  (Mac King was great; a lot of his jokes weren't so great for children--although Lucas didn't know it).  Kaitlin got bored partway through the show.  We bought Mac King's magical lunch box, and Lucas became "Golden Jack," the magician, and put on LOTS of shows.  My mom was an excellent assistant.
Grandma bought the kids new clothes and jammies from Kohl's.  I love this wiggly-eye shirt!!!
Easter morning!  The Easter bunny had hidden the baskets, and the kids couldn't wait to follow the clues to find them!
I wish this picture wasn't blurry!!!!!  Grrr.

Lincoln kept tasting the Peeps, but in the end, he was not a big fan.  He definitely preferred his sucker.
Lucas still doesn't really care for candy...but we all enjoyed it for him!
We colored Easter eggs.  Kaitlin sat there forever dyeing and then re-dyeing the eggs.
All dressed and ready for church!
Such handsome boys!!
Kaitlin's new Easter dress from Grandma.  She has worn it EVERYDAY since Easter, minus the occasional wash day.  Surprisingly, it is still in really good shape!  She calls it her "Easter Egg Dress."
Easter Egg Hunt.  I had to buy a few different bags of candy so that we had each person's favorite.  The kids set to work filling up all of the eggs we owned.  It ended up to be about 90 eggs!  Yep, that's 45 eggs per kid.  Clint thought that was a little excessive.  :-)  My mom also bought Squinkies to put in the eggs.  The kids loved that surprise!
Golden Jack, finding his eggs.
Grandma was able to come to Kaitlin's dance class.  They got their costumes that day too!
We played at Lucas' school.
Lucas' first baseball game.  He is on the Mudcats again this year.  He skills are really improving, but he thinks it's too boring.  We will probably stick to soccer.
This is Kaitlin on the way home from dropping Grandma off at the airport.  The weekend pooped her out!
I made these Easter Eggs with water balloons, liquid starch, and embroidery floss.  I love them.
We loved having my mom with us, and we hope you all had a wonderful Easter!

Lucas looks so grown up in his church clothes! And I love that picture of Kaitlin pooped out in the car. :0) I saw those eggs on Pinterest and I wanted to make them, but never did. Yours are beautiful! I'm going to copy you next year :0)
