Lincoln 8-9 Months

Here are some pictures of Lincoln from his 8th and 9th months.  Back to the long floppy hair days!!

Our pediatrician that we've had since Lucas was born - Dr. Fernandez.  I loved going to her because she knew us.  We were some of her first patients.  She loves my kids and always tells me how beautiful and smart they are :-), and that we should have more kids since they turn out so perfectly.

Beautiful boy!

Lincoln makes so many great faces.  He has always been a good eater.  As the third child, he got to eat a lot more exciting things earlier than the other kids-ice cream, candy, pretzels, etc.  He did not like any baby food green vegetables, but he did really like rice cereal, sweet potatoes, squash, and the fruits.

These two are good buddies.

Lincoln loves his bath time!  He never gets to bathe alone though, so he often gets splashed a lot and knocked over.  He doesn't seem to mind.  Kaitlin is the best helper in the bath.  I hold Lincoln still, and she helps me scrub him down.

I went through Lucas' old clothes to see if any of them were the right season and size for Lincoln, so one morning, Kaitlin dressed herself in Lucas' 24 month church shirt.  I had a good laugh.

Lincoln got his two bottom teeth, then he got his two top teeth on the either side of where his middle teeth should be, so he had fangs!  He was our vampire baby for a little while.

Finally, Lincoln started to crawl and pull himself up at a little after 9 months.  At his 9-month appt, the Dr. couldn't believe he wasn't crawling yet, so she referred him to Early Intervention services!  I was really surprised by her reaction.  We decided to create our own baby bootcamp, and we had him crawling in about 1 1/2 weeks.  Lincoln has been such a happy baby, but he was not happy when we made him try to crawl!  He shouted at us quite a bit.  Now he is into all kinds of mischief.  Lucas and Kaitlin weren't very pleased that he could now get their toys.

Whoops!  A lot more injuries now!
