Well, I guess I better get this post done since Lucas starts 2nd grade on Tuesday!!!

Lucas and Ms. Bellini. He won the "Top Reader" award! We are so proud of him. He is the best student-focused, a good worker, and willing to help his teacher and other students. He was always one of the first students to finish his work, so he was often able to do extra/more exciting assignments. His teacher often used him to help with a disruptive student. She said he was always quick to compliment him when he was making good choices. Ms. Bellini was a fantastic teacher; very organized with clear rules.
Lucas and his friend, Londyn. She is so cute. He frequently would tell us that she is being "forced" to go to BYU, so we would tell him that maybe they would meet up there and get married some day! Kaitlin loves to see Londyn on the playground. Londyn left Lucas a voicemail once that the kids now love to listen to repeatedly.

Lucas was really sick the last couple of days of school (throwing up and weak), so he missed a couple of days and was only able to go for about an hour on the last day. They had a water balloon and pizza party. We made this t-shirt for his teacher because these are her catch phrases.
Way to go, Lucas!!!!!
