Here are some random bits of info for you! *The other day, Lucas and I got stuck behind a car that wasn't moving at all for no good reason. I got a little frustrated, so I said, "Come on, dude!" What do you think I heard from the back seat? Good thing I don't swear!

*This is Lucas' first "real" picture. He colored it by himself and told us that it was a waterfall.
*On Sunday, Lucas always gets excited for the sacrament. Yesterday, when he saw the water coming, he started singing (loudly!), "Drink a water, drink a water, drink a water!"
*A couple of days ago I was taking Lucas upstairs for his nap, and he said, "Biaper, biaper!" I had just changed him, but I laid him down on the bed to check, just in case. While I checked, he got the silliest smile on his face, and he said, "I farted!"
*We went to see Ratatouille on Saturday. It was pretty cute, but it was long for a kids' movie. About an hour into it, Lucas started to get pretty wiggly...standing on his chair, trying to run away, throwing little fits, etc. As soon as the movie was over though, he shouted, "More!" Silly kid.
*I accidentally bought Little Mermaid swim diapers for Lucas, much to Mia's joy! Every time we go swimming, she says, "He have Little Mermaid?" Today she helped him pull his diaper up a little more so she could see the picture better. This is kind of a goofy picture of both of them.
*Bribery works! I have been taking an exercise class 3 days a week, and Lucas goes to the little daycare there. They would always bring him to me crying about 20 minutes into the class. But NOW he knows he gets to have a fruit roll-up if he stays and is happy. It has been working like a charm! He has remained in the daycare for the full hour ever since.
*Lucas has developed some new swimming skills. He loves this video, especially the "Mommy, no!" part at the end. He keeps screeching it over and over!
Exciting bits of news:
*Tyler and Kameron had their baby boy, Nathan, on July 21st. He is VERY cute, and so far, a VERY good baby! We can't wait to meet our new nephew!
*Gianna and Thomas are engaged! They are getting married December 28th. Congratulations!

Lucas is still the smartest kid I know! Is that little blue outfit one of Uncle Leo's hand me down's? I think I remember a picture of him in it. Less than 2 weeks until we get to see you and Lucas! I have lots of reading to do to prepare for your visit and a few games to buy for us to play!
Lucas looks so cute in that suit!!!! His face is bright and happy!
