GREAT Great-Grandparents

My grandparents came to see us this week. We had a great time together. Lucas had so much fun playing with them. And they're such easy guests! We took them along to all of our normal activities. They got to see a week in the life of Lucas. One day we went to Kids' Club. Both of my grandpa's raffle tickets were drawn! Lucky guy! And he was nice enough to give the prizes to Lucas. :) (A ball and jacks set, a squirt gun, and a SpongeBob beanie baby).

The next day we went to storytime at the library and then over to Sunset Park to feed the birds. There were tons of geese! They walked right up to us. Lucas kept shouting, "No get me!" and then he would scale the closest adult. He loved feeding the birds, but my arms were VERY tired afterwards from holding him. We also played at the park. This red seat spins around with your momentum. Lucas really liked it for about 5 seconds, and then he got going too fast! (If you click on the pics, they may enlarge so you can see his face).

While my grandparents were here, we also read stories, blew bubbles, and went to the park (the weather has been AWESOME!). We were sad to see them go! Thanks for coming!

Fun times...I want to know where all the pigeons were at the park, I think I only say ducks and geese, that's not normal! And the weather has been great? That makes me happy, parks here we come!

So I am not the worst friend ever. I am well aware that your b-day passed and even waited all day to call you. I did get a call though that my friend had been shot and died. We werent super close, but it took me by suprise. I went to the funeral, then J.T. left to Hawaii and then Mexico. So... HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Love ya, muah.
