The Life of a 2-Year Old

Lucas does so many funny/crazy/interesting things! I'll tell you a few that have happened recently...
*While we were eating ice cream cones with my grandparents, Lucas noticed that my grandma took the paper wrapper off the bottom of her cone. He had to do it too, of course! And then he said, "Naked!"
*Lucas was helping me "clean" my room the other day. He found my clogging shoes and started wearing them around. (He likes to make "pretty music"). All of a sudden, he started crying, and I just about had a heart attack because the last time I'd seen him he was at the top of the stairs. So I ran around the corner, and he was about 4 stairs down, face first. I think all of his weight was resting on his nose. He wasn't hurt, but he gave us both a scare! We've been lucky that he hasn't plummeted down the stairs yet!
*Luke continues to put things in "Time Out." Po, his Teletubby, generally receives the most punishment, but the other day his Lightening McQueen bowl was in big trouble! I'm not sure what it did, but he was shouting, "Sit! Time out!" I wish I had gotten a video!
*Another shouting story. We really don't shout at him, so I'm not sure where it comes from! He's just a loud kid! Clint was eating some chips, and he must have stopped or something, because Lucas shouted, "DADDY! EAT CHIPS!" He used a really mean and grovelly voice and his face was all squished up. It was so funny.
*Lucas is learning to be so polite. If someone sneezes, he says, "Bless you." And if you tell him "bless you," he says, "Thanks!" He says thank you and you're welcome for lots of things. I said, "Thanks so much!" to a lady at the store today, and he kept repeating it over and over again. I love it when he thanks me for things.

Lucas, you are so funny!

When you guys stayed with us, I think I laughed more than I have in a long time because he would say the funniest things.

You guys should come back up here for another football game soon!

Natalie, Lucas is looking so big in that picture, like a little boy! He is saying some funny things. About the stair situation, thank goodness he didn't fall all the way down those, they are so steep and long!
