Question: What will happen when Lucas' dips the "magical paper" into water?
Hypothesis: Lucas-"I think it will turn into a lamb." Kaitlin-"Can someone fix my crooked neck?"
Procedure: Dip the magical paper into water and observe!
Observations/Results: The paper turns into a sponge!
Lucas had soooooooooooo much fun! I spent a lot of time cutting out shapes because he wanted to continue the activity until the sponges soaked up all of the water. He thought it was very exciting.My dad came by to visit tonight. He brought a scooter for Lucas. Lucas was in tool heaven while they made a few improvements to the scooter with all of my dad's tools. Here he is learning to use an electrical screwdriver.
And if you're wondering, yes, this is how Lucas was dressed all day. :)

Dad had as much fun as Lucas. I love his complete sentences and articulation. You are teaching him well. I also did science experiments with cubscouts. That is too canny. I think Lucas had as much fun as the 8 year olds in my den.

I think the "just undies" look is super comfy myself... Just as long as when he gets to school he wears pants...lol I think its great.
I love that Kaitlin participates in the experiment too.....never too young to learn! I think it is too cute that he is in his undies....at least he wears them! The PE teacher at my school, that I once dated, happened to tell my class one day that boys don't need to wear underwear! I almost clocked him! YES boys need underwear..I told him to zip his lips around the little guys! Just think Lucas is helping you save on laundry!
You are such a good mom. Already up and running science experiments! I love the undies! My son spends a lot of time in only his as well.
What cool paper!! That video was SO CUTE! What a good teacher you are! :) I look forward to all the fun activities I can do with Madi once she's a little older and will actually get excited about them! It was fun to see how excited Lucas was through the whole thing!
