Montana!

Our traveling has been non-stop! A few days after returning from Spokane, we headed off on a road trip to Montana. And Clint was able to come! (Get ready for a ton of pics! Troy combined all of our pics, so I had to choose from a file of 1066 pictures). We stayed with Great Grandpa Ron and Great Grandma Kaye at their cabin near West Yellowstone. Clint's parents and all of his brothers and their families were there.

Our first day we went to Yellowstone. Here are all of the cousins:
It was the perfect trip! A buffalo walked right by our cars!
And we got soaked by the Beehive Geyser! Lucas was very concerned about getting wet, but I kept saying, "Oh, no. We're so far away. Look at those people right by the geyser. They're going to get wet, not us!" I was wrong!!!! Clint and I thought it was pretty exciting, but Lucas and Kaitlin were not impressed. I love this picture because it looks like Kate's trying to make her face look as chubby as possible.
The Beehive Geyser was amazing. It was much more impressive than Old Faithful, but it only goes off twice a day. We were lucky to be there!
Another day we took a trip to Wade Lake. It was beautiful. The water was so clear and looked like it belonged in a tropical location.

The kids fished and threw rocks.

Kaitlin was about the only one to brave the chilly water.

We did a lot of visiting, hanging around the cabin, and playing games. Lucas had a blast playing with his cousins!
Kate loved Artie. More "fishing." Water was not required! They became quite proficient at casting.

Campfire and s'mores!
Go Fish!
Lots of painting and coloring.
And, Star Wars, of course!!!
More pictures!!
Ron and Kaye-Thanks so much for having us! We had a wonderful time!

On our way back to Vegas, we stopped in Rexburg so Clint could visit with a mission companion. Lucas, Kate, and I went to a really fun park and had a picnic. We had a great time until Lucas threw up in the McDonald's bag, which broke open. I think most of our trips end with Lucas throwing up! Here he is, so happy, just minutes before vomiting! Poor guy. We made it home though! (But not without Clint joining in on the barfing)! Thanks for letting us stay with you, Sean and Jen. We really hope you don't get it!
We had such a fun time. We were so glad that everyone was able to be there! Thanks, Jim, Claire, Ron, and Kaye!!!
(If you can make it through the Montana video, Lucas has some pretty awesome dance moves. They start about 4:40. As you can see, it was total chaos! This dance party went on for a long time. Savannah ran the boys into the ground).

So much fun... That's all my old stomping ground. I love the rexburg carousel such good memories for me, but probably not for you when Lucas got sick. Glad you had a fun time.

That looks like a blast! The big family picture is beautiful! I can't believe Steve and I never went vacationing that direction while we lived in Utah. We will have to do it at some point.

Wow, now Lucas is quite the experienced fisherman! And we COMPLETELY understand the traveling throw-up scenario. I have to do ALL of the clean up while Neil stands ten feet away to avoid adding more throw up!

Great post! I love seeing all the pics and videos.

We're glad we got to see you for a little bit. We're all feeling great here, so I think we missed out on the sickness!
