Has It Really Been a Week?

I feel like March has flown by! Here is what we've been up to in the past week:
Poor Katie Pie was sick-coughing and feverish. She fell asleep with Clint twice!! That never happens. She's better now. We went to an Easter egg hunt with our playgroup. Lucas filled all of our eggs by himself!Lucas and I taught Kate how to find eggs at home, so she knew just what to do! She got a little distracted with her first 2 eggs though because she loved the sound they made! She just had to dance all around. She loves to eat "nanny." (Candy). She asks me for it all day long. Lucas was a great egg hunter. He found his 12 eggs quickly and then helped his sis.We also colored eggs--Star Wars style! The Tringali family stayed the night with us on their way up to Utah. We had so much fun!!! It's been a year since we've seen them. The kids got along great!Cute Kate and Robbie

I made myself a spring/Easter skirt and a pillowcase dress for Kate to match! My skirt turned out great! Kate's dress was another story! I've never made a pillowcase dress, and I did it all while Kate was sleeping, so it ended up a bit tight!! If she bent her body at all, the dress slid up to her waist! So she did not wear it to church. I'll have to rip out the side seams and add some material.Lucas, Kate, and I went out to Boulder City to check out Veterans' Memorial Park. It was windy, so we had it all to ourselves! There was a splash pad that looked really fun, so we'll definitely be going back. We also fed the ducks in their duck pond.Kate in a drawer. So cute!Lucas quotes:

-We've been listening to a stranger song lately. On our walk home from the park, Lucas got quite a ways ahead of me, then stopped in front of a house and yelled, "Stop right there, Mom! I'm going to practice running away from a stranger! I'm going to stand right here until that door opens!"

-Lucas has been refusing to wear shorts. "Mom, I'm going to wear pants all summer. I don't want anyone to see my legs. 'Cause we don't want anyone to know how long our legs are, right?"

Other news:

-Our ward split, and we are now in an entirely new ward! It's kind of exciting! Clint is now the Executive Secretary (works with the Bishop making appts, taking minutes, making agendas, etc.). I don't know what my calling is yet! I'm sad about losing my Primary calling. I really liked it.

-Kate is 18 months, so she was able to go to nursery for the first time. She did great! She was not upset to be left at all. Hopefully that will continue!

-The Clark County Fair is next week!!! Are you going? I'm counting down the days....

Dang! You guys have had a BUSY week! I've been dealing with sick kids since Saturday so I can totally sympathize there! No fun at all!! And I'm super impressed with the skirt and dress you made! ADORABLE! And that's AWESOME that Kate had no problem with going to nursery! Crazy that she's already 18 months old!
