My grandparents brought me a really nice sewing machine, so my grandma and I made a quilt to test it out! The quilt will match my curtains! My grandma is a quilt expert! We finished the front, and now I have to finish the rest on my own! Wish me luck! :)
I love the pink and green!! This is ME in a blanket!
I found these wigs at the dollar store with my grandma while we were searching for red hairspray! Kaitlin is so funny--she always tries to pose just like Lucas.
Lucas' school had crazy sock day (see frog socks above) and crazy hair day. Unfortunately, the kids were not supposed to use colored hairspray (it did not say that in the note), so I had to go in to the school to wash out a very distraught Lucas' hair.
We took my grandparents to feed the lovely fish at Lake Mead. My grandpa said we had to come up with an activity that was just as amazing as visiting Harrison, Idaho. (A small town we take a boat ride to every summer). I'm pretty sure that the fish stacked up! They were impressed! :)
Then we sent Lucas off to school with Max and Tisha so we could go see the new bridge over the Hoover Dam. I was so excited to go over the bridge. And then it was over within 1 minute and we couldn't see anything off either side of the bridge! So, we pulled over and took a bunch of pictures of "the bridge," until my grandpa said, "That's not the bridge!" Well, we got a lot of nice pictures, and then we drove over the dam to see the real bridge!!
The fake bridge
The real bridge
We had our ward Trunk-or-Treat one night. Kaitlin was supposed to be a puppy this year, but she refused to wear it! So she was Ariel the Mermaid instead, which Tisha loaned to us. Lucas was Mario, I was a witch doctor (thanks for the idea, Jen!), and Clint was an army man, of course!
Aden, Max, and Lucas
Kaitlin made friends with Audrey and followed her all over!
Trick-or-Treating! Kaitlin was the big winner! There was a little train ride, and Lucas spent almost every second riding or chasing it! He felt a little panicked when he realized he missed the candy! A few days later, his primary teacher asked how much candy he got, and he said, "Ten thousand." :)
Uncle Devin and Uncle Wyatt--stealing candy from a baby!!!
Ariel, with her friends Little Red Riding Hood and "Wolfie."
On the last day of my grandparents' trip, we went down to explore City Center.
Aria-wall of water and neat fountainTram ride to Crystals
Whirlpools at Crystals-Lucas was shaking all around like he was stuck inside one.Taking the elevator to the top of the Mandarin-23rd floor! It was such a quick ride, and we could hardly feel the elevator moving at all.
We loved having you come and visit us, Grandpa and Grandma!! Come back soon!

Great witch doctor costume, I love it! The kids look so cute and hasn't Clint been an army man since we met you years ago? That is so funny!!
