Our next outing was a trip to the M&M Factory. If you've been, and parked at the MGM Grand, you know it is a long walk!!! We were so dead by the end of our visit!
We watched the 3-D M&M movie first, and Kaitlin kept shouting, "Where're my M&M's?" We each got a tiny handful of M&M's for $12.99 per pound!!
When we got back out on the strip, there were a bunch of characters out there! Exciting, right!? The kids thought so. I thought they were quite creepy (Elmo had a really deep man's voice), and after we started taking pictures, each character would ask for a tip. When we gave Darth Vader our remaining change, he made sure to let us know that the cost was usually at least $1! So, bring your money people!
Kaitlin only agreed to stand by Mario.
I'll spare you the picture of the chubby-ish guy in a sequin bra, spandex, thong, and boas. Kaitlin really liked him. ;-)
Our walk through the MGM was totally worth it because the lions had just arrived and were having playtime. I have never seen lions be so active. The trainers had them jumping up on the windows right in front of the kids!! They were running all over and chasing the balls. It was so neat. Did you know there are actually 37 lions that live on a ranch, and they take turns coming to the MGM? They lions are switched out twice/day.
When we weren't busy running around with my grandparents, we were playing games, toys, babies, and riding bikes!! We had such a wonderful time with my grandparents.

Ha! I want to see the chubby guy! That sounds funny!
When I saw the 1st picture with Mario, I thought 'no, they're not too creepy', but then by the 2nd picture with Elmo, I thought 'yeah, SUPER creepy'!! The tip thing is funny!
