CA Trip

The weekend before school started, we took a trip a trip down to CA to see Grandpa Jim be released as Bishop of their ward.
Saturday morning we went to Disneyland.  We got there early and were able to do lots of things before we left at lunchtime.  We left Baby Link at home with Grandma, where he took a 3 hour nap!
Kaitlin was excited about Pluto, but she didn't want to get too close to him.  She really wanted to see the Disneyland worker in charge of Pluto's line.  She kept saying, "Is that Mario?"  He was wearing a red hat and blue overalls.
Toon Town was so fun!  We don't usually go there.  Kaitlin loved the kiddie rollercoaster.

Look at this muscle man!
I love this picture!!
I haven't been on Small World in a long time.  It was so much fun to look for all of the new characters added to the ride--Ariel, Lilo, Mulan, Nemo, etc.
Outdoor Adventure in Cali Adventure.  We also rode on the new Ariel ride, which I thought was great!
Even a 1/2 day at Disneyland can really wear you out!
Later that day, Grandma Claire and Grandpa Jim had an early birthday party for Lucas.  We went to Chuck E. Cheese, and then back to their house for pizza, cake, and playtime with cousins.
Great picture.  Lincoln was great the whole trip.  He was 4 weeks old.
Cute, cute Joshie!
Nana, Josh, Nate, Kate, Lucas, and Lincoln
The beautiful girls and Link.  Now Troy, Tyler, and Clint each have 2 boys and 1 girl!
6 years old!
Link meeting Aunt Kameron and Uncle Tyler.
Kaitlin even got an early birthday present from her cousins.
A new Mario shirt from Grandma and Grandpa.
Grandpa Jim and Lincoln
Lucas also got a new Lego game and a Ninja Batman!
On Sunday, we went to church, where Grandpa Jim was released.  He had a huge grin of relief!  We were glad to be there for the occasion!!  Thanks, Jim and Claire, for the nice weekend and Lucas' birthday party!  It was a nice quick trip.  Although, traveling with three kids??  Our drive took much longer.  :-)

I loved the strong man, family pictures, and the video of Kaitlin singing with "It's a Small World."
