*Lucas: Is that what Lincoln is wearing to church? Is Jesus going to be okay with that?
*Kaitlin: I'm so brustrated.
*Kaitlin: Lucas and Leo hurt my feelings! Right here. And here. And here. (Pointing to multiple spots on her finger).
Kaitling started a tap and ballet class last week with her friends Ellie and Chloe. She was so excited and loved her new dance clothes. My mom brought down my tap and ballet shoes from when I was 3 a couple of months ago, so she frequently wears her tap shoes around the house.
Her teacher, Miss Lori, is excellent! Kaitlin did really well for the first half since she was used to the tap shoes. She paid attention to the teacher and copied what she was doing. For the second half, she did not want to wear her ballet shoes, and it went a little downhill from there! She was galloping around and Miss Lori helped her get to a piece of tape where she should be standing, which Kaitlin did not appreciate. She proceeded to stand there, frozen, for the next five minutes. It was pretty funny to watch her. I went in to try to help her but she had already reached her threshold for being cooperative! Hopefully it will get better each week! She loves to dress up and be with her friends!
Here she is, frozen to her piece of tape. Miss Lori came over once to help her move her arms, but she stood as stiffly as she could.
