We spent Christmas Eve day unpacking, cleaning, and making cookies for Santa. After the kids helped for a bit, we had Max, Ellie, and Payton come over to keep them busy! They were so happy to see friends after all of our traveling!
That evening, we went to the Woolf's house for a Christmas Eve party. The kids were too excited to wait to open their Christmas Eve gifts though! Lucas was so funny. He told us quite early on that they always get new jammies on Christmas Eve, but the week before, he kept shaking his present, saying, "I know it's a pillow! I know it!" So he was surprised to see his jammies!
The Christmas Eve party was a lot of fun. I didn't take any pics thought because I was too busy taking videos! Tisha's family always had a talent show on Christmas Eve, so that was one of our activities. I loved it! Definitely a tradition I'd like to start. Watch our family talent--you'll be impressed! We also played the stealing present game and ate yummy treats.
When we returned home, the kids changed into their jammies and got cookies and milk ready for Santa.
Luckily Clint and I had most of our wrapping done! We just had to set everything out. The kids each got a new bike. I insisted on the bikes being from us (I'm getting a little grumpy about Santa getting all of the good gifts)! When I asked Kaitlin who she got her bike from, guess what she said? Santa! Ha!

I seriously am so impressed with the family talent! It looks like you had a great, busy holiday!
I love the new picture for your header! So cute!!
We changed things up this year as far as gifts from Santa went. We felt the same way that Santa got all the credit and that didn't seem fair! So Santa brought 2 things that were super exciting and that Carson had mentioned to him that he wanted, and we gave everything else. Sorry Santa!!
We're counting the days till we see you guys!
